Empower 2 Create was born from rejection, reflection, and the realization that I didn’t need permission to build something of value.

In 2018, I took a campus sales job with a major t-shirt company, excited to build relationships and make money while in school. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t land a single sale. I was burned out, changing majors, and constantly wondering if I was enough.

After taking a break and trying to return, I was denied the opportunity to come back—and that rejection lit a fire in me. It taught me one of the most important lessons of my life:

Stop trying to prove your worth to people who can’t see it. Build your own table.

During the pandemic, I finally started sharpening the gifts I had been sitting on for years—design, strategy, storytelling. The word “empowered” stuck with me. I didn’t just want to design—I wanted to empower.
